The Art of Getting By

I've been playing this game called Simcity4. it was released damn long ago but i got it for $19.90 so i still think it's a bargain. ha!

But the way i built the metropolis of my dreams was eerily familiar.

Maximise all land space till the very last square millimetre of each corner of the land.
Every single pocket of the city must be under coverage of a school, hospital and police post.
Abundance of trees and parks.
Low pollution (includes noise, water and air). Polluting agents are located far away from residential areas.
High budget towards education, health and transportation because they have to be world class.
Strictly minimal dirty industries or agricultural. i only build world class high-tech industries.
Policies to attract international businesses and tourists are highly encouraged
High rise commercial buildings are highly encouraged.
Such developments are funded by high taxes.
Which means only citizens of high enducation and high wealth can survive in my little metropolis of dreams. woohoo!

I was so successful that i got bored of my little city too soon, i started to release tornados, robot attacks, volcanos and earthquakes all over to destroy this irritatingly perfect little city.

Then i made an astonishing revelation. everything in sight was either burnt down/messed up to rubble except one thing called the landfill! rubbish is indestructible! i landed a volcono right in the middle of a landfill but after the lava subsided, you could still see the landfill intact right in the middle of the useless volcano. amazing!

So kids, do your part, save the earth and put the can in your hand into recycling now!
