Reasons why people condemn the idea of staying in hall

Sunday, July 29, 2007

100% real geniune not-fake not-made-up people-tell-me-in-the-face reasons.

1) Don't wanna wash my own clothes
2) Expensive
3) Scared no time to study
4) Scared no time to do anything else
5) Just plain scared
6) Unable to receive secure mail
7) Hall people anyhow sleep around with each other
8) Got girlfriend already don't need stay in hall lah
9) Hall people are siao on loh, but i'm not
10) Hall people always eat supper
11) etc.

If all of the above applies to you, why don't you just stay at home and hide under your mummy's skirt forever and ever.

By the way i love meiji chocolates. nooj gave me a dark chocolate bar yumyum so delicious but i prefer milk chocolate.

what i did today.... not.

I do recognize that my blog is not about "what i did today", "events that i went for this week", or "my cam-whoring expeditions". Instead, entries are completely random and usually senseless. I take pictures now and then and do make efforts to edit, post and script some descriptions here and there but given the extensive amount of time i spent editing photos for my accessories blog.... you know how i feel about spending my time in such a way.

You can say that i'm just being lazy. Which is completely true. I've now become famous for sprouting the phrase "bitten by lazy bug" (because lish, grace and dil threw it back at me at completely separate occasions). Nevertheless, i'd love to see my blog filled with photos. So my point is.........

If i've attended an event with you and you happened to have taken pictures, please send them to me ok. Best if they're edited. Haha!

I told you entries are random and senseless.

random question

Wednesday, July 25, 2007

Someone asked me a totally random question about her (assumed) crush all of a sudden, thinking that i know this guy well, which i actually don't. Hehe... it's kinda funny in a way, cos it's something that i would so totally fall into as well... asking a casual question about a common friend (who happens to be my crush) seems innocent enough to me, but definitely too obvious to others!

i sub-consciously dislike boys who like me

Tuesday, July 24, 2007

A close friend of mine has this strange reaction towards boys who like her. she claims that she would start to dislike such boys and would keep a distance from them. it sounds ridiculous, but upon reflecting, i realise i am just like her. as i come to know of (whether directly or indirectly) certain special affections that boys have towards me, i start feeling somewhat uncomfortable around this person. any of his antics would be labelled as inappropriate and irritating by my standards (which have been irreversibly skewed).

And
so this close friend of mine thinks she'll never get a boy. but we ultimately think she still has hope because i did! and that essential criteria lies in timing. i gotta like this boy before i come to know of his liking towards me, so i must like you first. in other words,i'll never get moved by a boy who 'jios me like crazy'. same thing for her. in fact, i don't remember my current boyfriend 'jio-ing' me with bouquets, love poems, songs and the usual works. hmmph. sound very lugi right. but people often underestimate the power of friendship before relationship, because relationship is ultimately a kind of friendship too.i've experienced how the feelings of initial infatuation can erode within a couple of months, so what comes after that? change boyfriend? or a long term commitment with the acceptance of each other as individuals with flaws?

I also want to announce that both my laptop and beloved phone is down. so if you call me, i might not know who you are. if you msn and bomb me with a lot of emoticons, i am not able to reciprocate your affections with more emoticons.

name-dropping act chio-ing post

Thursday, July 19, 2007

A certain star blogger thinks a certain blogger with 16000 'friends' likes to flaunt that she has a semi famous boyfriend by purposely name-dropping. haha. funny. i don't even know this semi famous boyfriend at all. but it'll seriously be very irritating if jay chou's girlfriend blog about him everyday :"i miss my jay chou jielun very much. i wish i could hold him now. look. here's a picture i took with my jay chou jielun yesterday. i hope i can get to see my jay chou jielun soon."

Sounds like some deluded fan blog.

Pearline yum ziyu is finally back after so long! pearline yum zi yu seemed to have been gone forever, on exchange and traveling with tan teck yong. but now they're all back! we can see each other and attend lectures with fellow econs khakis foo kee long and ashley cheong yuh wen again! but anuja varaprasad won't be around though :( sniffs. i miss my anuja varaprasad. things won't be the same without my anuja varaprasad! and my desiree fu yuanting, dalvir singh and many others are leaving too. oh how empty my life would be without these people. but my brandon chen junhao will be here hooray! i love brandon chen junhao.

*Insert an act chio photo that features a slightly tilted head, pursed lips and overly stretched big eyes, captured in an overhead fashion.

I visited MAAD bazaar in the weekends and found lotsa incredibly creative handmade goodies! From handmade jewelry to handmade clothes to handmade glass to handmade bags to handmade ornaments everything is handmade! And they're all of good quality and unique, not like those chapalang/2nd hand items you see in flea markets. Of course pricing wise most will be on the expensive side. but handmade leh!! a lot of sweat and blood goes into each piece.

I ordered a hand-painted T-shirt whee hee!! Hope it comes through the mail sooooon!!! SO exciting! now i know how it feels to be waiting for an item through mail. and i've been browsing the net for hand-designed shoes also. whee i love hand-designed things!!

Visit MAAD on the first weekends of every month now!

You know how blog shop owners like to blacklist people? i love reading the list of the horrible deeds these people have done hahaha ok a bit sadistic but i find some of the descriptions hilarious sometimes. Do not ever offend a blog shop owner! they'll publish nasty stories and list out your full hp no., email address, msn address or even home address for the world to see, absolutely won't give you face!

Blacklisted!
Tan Ah Kow
hp:9xxxxxxx
Email:ahkow@xxx.com
Address: ah kow's house
Heinous deed: totally irresponsible buyer. say she wanna buy 66 of my items but keep saying that she got no money, only want to pay me for 6 items. likes to MIA, only answered 178 out of my 256 attempts to call her. ask to meet me at yishun station but never showed up, planted a bomb there to kill me somemore. luckily i escaped! i called to scold her, which she responded by spraying paint all over my house, and threatened to set fire. also scolded me bad words consisting names of human genitals. wah lau. if you don't wanna buy anymore, just tell me lah! very hard meh? you always liddat then i don't need to do business already isit?

*
Above is just a fictional example of how a blog shop owner will blacklist you. BEWARE!

end of bazaar

Monday, July 02, 2007

I'm finally done with my bazaar! after some extensive preparations it turned out okay-ish. i made some profits, but could have been more if traffic weren't so little. the booth beside me only sold 3 items :( at certain points of time absolutely nobody were hanging around other than the vendors. we were so bored that we started shopping at each other's booths hehe. i guess afternoons weren't fantastic at a place like boat quay, or publicity could have been done more effectively.

Oh wells! we had fun selling though! i used to love laying out my toys and playing shopkeeper when i was young. 2007 i've fulfilled 3 of my major childhood dreams! (the other two was to act, and sing solo to an audience on stage wahahha)

Note: besides being a singer, actor and shopkeeper, some of my other career aspirations include being a cake chef, interior designer, fashion designer, film director, hotelier, tai-tai and more.

Anyway, many thanks to friends who turned up to support me despite the hard-to-find location!!! people like jiaxin/serena/desiree/weiteck/nat/samantha yay!! so happy to see them! plus the many more who wished me good luck :) plus babi who brought me dinner and helped me carry my stuff. yay! babi rocks!

I still have quite some leftover earrings although i only have 1 bracelet and 1 necklace left. still doing orders from before the bazaar but will find time to take pictures and upload them soon! i hate taking pictures! my pink camera is indeed bimbotic :( pretty but useless in the functional department. gimme a new camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
